Tired of those boring, old pennies?
Principled in time for.. Well, nothing in particular, the US Mint is jolting us all out of what will surely be a deep post-holiday sleep with the charming introduction of four new penny designs!
In 2009, the United States Mint will mint and issue four different one-cent coins in awareness of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln’s birth and the 100th anniversary of the first issuance ofParticularlythe Lincoln cent.
Wow. Apparently the designs were unveiled months ago, but I somehow didn’t notice. And now I’ll possibly not notice the first time I get one of the amazing new-fangled pennies. I’d like to take this time to thank the US Mint for giving me something to not caution about.
I wonder what this guy would say:

Big hair and more old pennies
I don't be familiar with where all my sudden urge to blog is coming from lately, but I guess I'm back.
Random stuff first: The other day at work I found a penny that was dated 1917!!! Loony huh! I don't know, the dates like 1970 or 1980 aren't so far out there for me. Only because people make movies about those times, and if I quite want I just ask my parents to tell me stories, but 1917?! No one I know is alive from 1917. How many of my ancestors lived then? Sometimes I doubt the sanity if any of my moms family and my dads family ever ran into each other WAY back when. I kind of laugh to think that if they did my dad's family would be steeling from my mom's family, but whatever. I close-fisted my great grandpa was a bandit...
Saturday night RHA threw a 1985 party. It took the place of the renaming Shiloh fete since that fell through due to certain tasks and other things that weren't carried through. *rolls eyes* After work my friend and companion RA Katie came and picked me up. I changed in to something comfortable and walked over to the Resident Life building. I didn't scold up, as I hoped I would have, but I had just gotten home from work and I was tired. The fact that I even showed up was a miracle. I could have stayed in my lodgings and went to bed, but I didn't. The big hair didn't even need to be worked on though, that just comes natural. So I guess I was amiable of dressed up in the appropriate attire...
The party was fun; loud music, and the Goonies playing. Some people danced crazily, others chatted. It was a orthodox and fun party. I was happy because there is a kid that lives here that doesn't get out much. I had ran into him on Friday and told him that he had to show up to the party, that if he wasn't there when I got there then I would be banging on his door delve he came out to join us all. Right when I got home I saw him leaving his room. (it actually looked like he was going in...) I shouted a Hi and told him he had to go to the social gathering. He told...
