Design classics: Ball clock
Yet again for another design lesson ! Today we will be talking about the ball clock from George Nelson.
 Luis Albuquerque
Does anybody recall who George Nelson is? Yes, you there in the back?
Ah yes, indeed, Nelson was a renowned architect, often mentioned as one of the founders of American Modernism.
Can anybody name me another stagger? No Jimmy, Micky Mouse doesn't count. Who does count is Charles Eames, an architect turned plotter just as George Nelson.

And just as with Eames, you can feel the fun oozing out of Nelson product designs. Yes boys and girls, this clock embodies all what was profitable in the fifties, and is still a refreshing piece of design today.
That's it for today. Class dismissed.

(OOC: For those that perhaps don't know- I didn't make the stroke thing up. It was mentioned in an episode called "In The Dark." The only thing I did get up was, well, everything else that surrounds it. And, also, names of her family members are subject to change should they ever be mentioned in the show. I'm picky like that.)

Or rather, allowing Alice to unburden Alex what she thought was good and what ideas she had. Not that Alex planned on actually going with all of what she suggested- if any. She just had this sensation it was more important to her sister to feel like she was helping.
A consequence of them spending the better part of a year at each others throats.
"Well, she's a dame." Alice gestured toward the infant- her expression was a simple 'duh'.
"So am I, and yet I'm not wearing pink." Alex snorted, sarcastically.
"Ha. Ha. I should've known you'd despise the pink. Well, blue doesn't really work-"
"Are they the only two colours in the world? Cream?" Alex interrupted, "What about cream?"
"Wearisome but okay." Alice sighed.
"There- crisis averted. You pick whichever you want, as long as it's cream. And, please, think back on what I said-"
Alice held up her hands in surrender, "I know, I know. Small and simple." Alex nodded and then turned towards Ellie and her mom. Her author was sat near them, making sure they...
